Student Leadership Conference

Prepare for a groundbreaking experience as the Alliance proudly presents the Student Leadership Day at the vibrant educational facilities of QUT’s Kelvin Grove campus. This exclusive event offers an empowering platform to maximise student leadership potential, focusing on school values, mindsets, and community engagement.
Target Audience: Year 6 Primary school leaders & Year 9 Secondary school leaders
Attendance: Each Alliance member school can send up to four students from their student leadership cohort + a mentoring teacher.
What to Expect
Collaboration: Students will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with leaders from their own school as well as those from other schools, sharing design thinking ideas and leadership action plans.
Inspiring Speakers: Be exposed to a learning community featuring inspirational speakers with a wealth of experience to support the student voice. Gain insights that will help shape their leadership vision.
Energising Program: Designed to boost student confidence and ignite positivity in their leadership of young people.
Actionable Initiatives: Leave the day with concrete initiatives to turn their leadership story into everyday action. The conference will empower student leadership agency to influence community engagement. These actions will shape student leadership legacy.
